अनुराग कश्यप के जैसे सपने देखना हर किसी के बस की बात नहीं!

बचपन से ही सुनते आ रहे हैं की  "IF YOU CAN'T CONVINCE THEM, CONFUSE THEM".

इसी व्यंगय की तरह मालूम पड़ती है बड़े परदे पर चर्चित रही अनुराग कश्यप के निर्देशन में बनी फिल्म 'बॉम्बे वेलवेट' ।

फिल्म जगत में बढ़ते फिल्मकारों की तादाद के चलते आज के युग में ये समझना काफी मुश्किल हो चला है की कौन सी फिल्म को बड़े परदे पर देखने के लिए जाया जाये और किसे नहीं । बॉम्बे वेलवेट 2015 में आयी ऐसी फिल्म है जिसके ट्रेलर को देखकर लगा के हाँ इसे बड़े परदे पर देखा जा सकता है। इसलिए मन में उत्तेजना छायी तो पहले दिन का पहला शो बुक कर दिया, परन्तु जल्द ही यह फिल्म लोगो की समीक्षाओं के बीच घिरने लगी और सोशल मीडिया ने वीकएंड में ही तय कर दिया के फिल्म लोगों के मन को कुछ खास भा नहीं रही। हालांकि कुछ समीक्षक उनमे ऐसे भी थे जिनकी इंटेलेक्टुअल सोच ने फिल्म के रूख को काफी हद तक समझने की कोशिश की।

जैसा की अनुराग कश्यप जी ने कहा की यह फिल्म उनके लम्बे अरसे से बुनते आ रहे एक सपने की छवि है।वाकई में ऐसा सपना अगर भारत में हर किसी को आने लगे तो हम भारत वासी यह कहना छोड़ देंगे की भारत में अच्छी फिल्मों का भविष्य डूबता हुआ नज़र आ रहा हैं। मुझे यह इस लिए कहना पढ़ रहा है क्यूंकि ज़्यादातर भारत के लोगों की यही प्रतिक्रिया रहती है और वे लोग भारत की फिल्मों की तुलना विदेशों से करने लगते हैं। फिल्म बनाने के प्रतिकिया अदबुध है और हर किसी का अपना तरीका है उसकी खूबसूरती को प्रस्तुत करने का।

इस ब्लॉग के शुरुवात में मैंने एक व्यंगय कहा है, जिसे की अनुराग कश्यप जी ने बखूबी इस फिल्म में संजोया है। आजकल की युवापीढ़ी में से कुछ ही ऐसे लोग होंगे जो जानते हैं की बॉम्बे वेलवेट की गड़ना कहाँ से हुई थी। यहाँ बात सिर्फ भारत के लोगों की हो रही है। ज्यादातर लोग तो बड़े परदे पर बस फिल्म का लुफ़्त उठाने जाते हैं। 9 से 6  की नौकरी करने के बाद उनके पास कहाँ इतना वक़्त है की वो इस तरह की फिल्मों को अपना समय दे सकें, पर क्यूंकि गैंग्स ऑफ़ वासेपुर की चर्चा के चलते लोगो को लगा के इस फिल्म में भी कुछ विदेशी अंदाज़ में देसी देखने को मिलेगा। माफ़ कीजियेगा पर अनुराग कश्यप जी अपनी हर फिल्म में कुछ ना कुछ नया करने की सोचते हैं।

अब अगर फिल्म की और अपना ध्यान केंद्रित किया जाए तो आपको 1960 के दशक के स्ट्रीट फाइटर 'जॉनी बलराज' की कहानी देखने को मिलेगी। मैं ज्यादा फिल्म की कहानी के बारे में नहीं बताऊंगा क्यूंकि अब काफी समय हो चला है फिल्म को रिलीज़ हुए (5 दिन) और ज्यादातर लोग इसकी कहानी जान ही गए हैं। 

फिल्म में काम करने वाले कैमरामैन ने बखूबी इस फिल्म की खूबसूरती को प्रदर्शित किया है, जिससे की बिना 19वी सदी में जाए हम देख सकते हैं की कैसा रहा होगा वो ज़माना जब हमारा जन्म भी नहीं हुआ था। फिल्म की एडिटिंग की बात की जाए तो मुझे अभी भी याद है की मेरे साथ वाली कुर्सी पर बैठा एक युवक फिल्म के एंडिंग पार्ट को देखकर कहने लगा, " इस तरह की फिल्म का मूड एक एडिटर ही बना सकता है"। उसके कहने का मतलब था के ऐसा लग रहा है के वह खुद अपने आप को उस फिल्म में जीता हुआ महसूस कर रहा है।

फिल्म में कुछ ऐसे पल थे जिन्हे देखकर पहले से मालूम पढ़ रहा था की फिल्म के अंत में दोनों मर जाएंगे। अंत में लिखा आया के रोज़ी बच गयी। वो सिर्फ ऑडियंस को  गुमराह करने का तरीका लगा। अगर गौर से देखा जाए तो आपको मालूम पड़ता है की फिल्म के क्लाइमेक्स का म्यूजिक ऑस्कर अवार्डेड फिल्म Birdman की म्यूजिक से काफी हद तक मिलता झूलता है। यह भी थिएटर में बैठे एक शख्स की ज़ुबानी ही है जिसे की वह युवक नहीं सह पाया और बोला के भारत के फिल्मकारों में कॉपी करने का ट्रेंड कब जाएगा!

कई बार फिल्म बनाते बनाते फिल्मकार अपनी कला में इतना ज़्यादा मगन हो जाते हैं की उन्हें याद ही नहीं रहता के आम आदमी इतनी ज़्यादा गहराईयों को समझने में सक्षम नहीं है। मैं दोबारा, सिर्फ भारत के लोगों की बात कर रहा हूँ क्यूंकि उन्हें ज़्यादातर सॉफ्ट कंटेंट एन्जॉय करना अच्छा लगता है, जैसे की Dubsmash और Vine जैसे प्लेटफार्म।

फिल्मकार की नज़र से देखा जाए तो मैं यही कहूँगा की बॉम्बे वेलवेट सिर्फ गिनी चुनी पब्लिक के लिए लिए ही सूटेबल है।

पहली मंज़िल की मुस्कान से लेकर मौत के शिखरों तक

ऊँगली से सरक्ते माँझे से लेकर आई-बो आई-बो कहते वो लव्ज़ भारत देश में ही सुन्ने को मिल सकते हैं।
जहाँ उमड़ता है प्यार मांझे और सद्दी से पेंच लड़ाकर। काट जाए जो उसकी उड़ती पन्नी, तो टूटी साँसों सी उड़ान उसकी, बन जाती मेरे चेहरे की ख़ुशी है।
अंधियारों से निकला हूँ उस ऊँच शिखर की ओर, जहां मिलते हैं खुशियाँ बटोरने को सब लोग।
है दिन ये बड़ा हरा, गुलाबी और हसीं। आओ तुम्हे दिखाए, है ये देश मेरा रंगीन।

मैं टिकाऊ जो नज़रें अपनी सीद में आती पन्नियों पर। कानों पर सरसराहट करता, दौड़ता हुआ, ढाई किलो मीटर प्रति घंटे की गती से निकलता मांझा नज़र आता हैं। पाने की चाहत उस  ख़ुशी को, मेरा मन बहकाती है। पल झपकते ही दोनों पन्नियाँ ठेंगा दिखलाती मुझे दूर चली जाती हैं।

उस सदी की पहली मंज़िल पर मिलना होता था जिस हवा से, वो आज मौत के शिखरों में तब्दील हो चुकी है।
बुलेटप्रूफ ना पहनकर श्लोक सुनाना तो बस एक नया पैंतरा है। 15 अगस्त 2 रुपए काम करके अगले माह 5 रुपए बढ़ाना भी तो तरक्की का ही बहाना है।
चाहे तू कोशिश कितनी भी कर ले, दरिया जाकर फिर भी तुझे रहना है। दोस्त ऐ मेरे, खुशियाँ पाना नहीं अब इतना आसान। मिलेंगे फिर किसी दिवस, किसी ख़ुशी के माहोल में.

लेता हूँ अलविदा कहकर तेरी मुस्कान से।

क्या है जीत ?

हैं भीड़ की नज़रें टिकी तुझपर..

ख़्वाबों कि स्याही सजी मुझपर..

छूने कि ख्वाहिश है की आज मैंने..

हार से भी यारी निभायी है मैंने...

ये कुछ पंक्तियाँ मैंने सम्बोधित की हैं उस जीत को, जिसे पाने की चाहत में अर्ज़े गुज़र जाते हैं. रातें दिन बन जाती हैं और दिन और भी खुशनुमा। 

यूं तो हम सभी अपनी- अपनी ज़िंदगी में कुछ न कुछ बड़ा करने कि चाहत रखते हैं, पर ये समझ ही नहीं पाते की क्या हैं वो रुकावटें जिनकी वजह से हम लक्ष्य को प्राप्त नहीं कर पाते।  ज़िंदगी से रुस्वा होना तो जैसे, अब आदत सी बन गयी है।

दूसरों की जीत को ही देख कर आंसू बहा लिया करते हैं पर कभी कोशिश का बीज बोने की ज़रुरत नहीं समझते । "जो कि थी कोशिश उसने भी कल किसी रोज़, तभी जीत का स्वाद लिया है आज उसने"

जीत कोई ज़िंदगी कि आखरी मंज़िल नहीं।  वो तो बस एक प्रेरणा है, जिसे पाने की चाहत में कुछ न कुछ नया विकसित होता ही रहता है।

यूं तो हार और जीत ज़िंदगी के दो पहलू हैं, परन्तु हार में ही छीपी जीत के भी क्या कहने हैं। मिल जाए तो ठीक वरना हार भी तो एक पहलु है।

Technique of Professionalism@ MBICEM

World has become a family. All the interwoven by the threads of technology. I am a techno freak or call me techno savvy. To be precise I work with camera like a precious toy.

I had started playing very earlier with this toy but the time when I understand the exact meaning of professionalism, I was in MBICEM. It is a college named Madhubala Institute of Communication and Electronic Media. A well known Institute/college of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi.

When the word 'Professionalism' comes under my mind then, there is only one thing that I know is DIRECTION. This is not just a word, this is my life, this is my passion and my passion is my profession. I am working for my passion since I was 15 but I never thought, it will become my profession.

I had started experimenting with my toy in the first year at MBICEM when I Directed a short film 'BHAAGINI'.

This short film was Written and Directed by me and people from MBICEM appreciated my work as an experiment and I thought, if I can make this one then why not to try in a professional way. That was the time when I started developing my  professionalism skills.

I happened to come across an event named “MEDIA CONCLAVE” on “MEDIA AS A CATALYST OF SOCIETY” where Mr. Arwind Kejriwal was present as a guest. This event was organized on 21^th February 2013 by Department of Journalism and mass Communication, BLS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT (Affiliated to GGSIP University, New Delhi).

I showcased my Documentary based on the life of folk artists living in Kathputli Colony, Shadipur, New Delhi. It was a wonderful experience watching all the entries and enhancing knowledge and expertise. I was observing everyone’s reaction on my documentary, while one of the Director’s faculty, and students turned up to appreciate my work.

After that, my documentary 'Broken Strings of Marionette' screened at two more places, Akshara theater in Connaught place and at Sri Ram Centre for Arts and Culture, Mandi house. These two film festivals were organised by JIMS, Vasant Kunj and MBICEM, Madangir respectively.

I was on cloud nine when my Documentary bagged first prize under Best film undergraduate in an

International student film festival 'First Frame 2013' organised by MBICEM at Sri Ram Centre.

My eyes were on the audience reactions and you know what, it feels amazing when people watch your film from the very first to the very last scene.

Words like Creative, hard work, perfect, 100% elements from the audience boost your confidence. Some people were also saying, it was unexpected from you. hahah..

I was like 'ab kya hi bolu yaar'.

Okay, I have wrote few words about my victory and these words are dedicated to my Trophy.

My happiness knew no bounds and imagine at the end when I won; OMG my heart actually stopped working.

I would definitely like to thank my Director and faculty of MBICEM for developing and polishing the requisite skills in me. I also would like to thank my friends, all the people who helped me to complete my target and the audience who accepted my film at theatre.

Oye Senior! Bhool to Nahi Jaayega Na o_O

Aaaaaaaaaaaa.aaaaaa.....Pheeeeewwww......Actually, I am getting confused about what to write.

Well! I really want to write few about our college seniors.
Seniors!
After our friends, the second people who acts with us like our parents are none other than our college seniors.

From the very first day of college, seniors are the one who makes us feel comfortable and folk! please listen carefully..... if they are having fun with you then please don't call it RAGGING! They have the  rights to have fun with you and this is one of the college life tradition. After seniors, we will follow this tradition.

I am also one of the victim of my seniors at the time of our college annual fest. They gave me a task to take off all the cloths and to show my muscles in different modes. You dirty people! they allowed me to wear that below piece of cloth.


My condition was same like Chatur Ramalingam faced  '3 idiots' but Seriously! It was heavy loaded fun for seniors and for me also :p

OK folks! Come back to the main focus of this post which is 'COLLEGE SENIORS'.

Faculties are the one who can teach you but seniors are the only one who boosts your mind ready to choose the right road to your goal. This is because, they have already faced the things that you are going to tackle in future.

There are some kind of people in every batch of college who remain freak towards their study. You also calls them 'kitaabi keede'. For these kind of freaks, the people who acts like GOD at the time of exams are none another than seniors who helps them by providing their hand made notes. Seniors can give you that lively benison that even a teacher can not pay you.

Now! when we are planning to give them a small piece of token in terms of  Annual Day for their unconditional love and resourceful hands on our head. A question that is standing bravely in front of me is 'Kahi college ke baad ye senior bhul to nahi jaayega' :(

I have no idea! but I am sure, my seniors can surely solve this question rolling around my mind.

Don't know he/she will remember me or not but my love for them will always remain constant.
